Eligibility for the PPP and SBA Franchise Identification Numbers

The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is available to:

• Dealers with fewer than 500 employees and;
• Dealer groups with common ownership or common control which qualify for a PPP Affiliation Rule Waiver.  
• Dealers must operate as a franchise and have a Franchise Identifier Code (FIC) issued by the SBA

Dealership groups applying for a PPP loan should provide their FIC number at time of application.  A copy of the SBA directory of Franchise Identifier Codes is  located: HERE
