As we all know, recent hurricane activity has devastated parts of the Caribbean, Florida, and Southeast Texas. Property damage is estimated in the billions of dollars range, and climbing. It is estimated that nearly 1,000,000 vehicles were affected by the flooding that resulted from the recent hurricane activity in the southern states.
As these vehicles are pumped back into the stream of commerce, dealerships may become unsuspecting owners of such vehicles through trade-ins and through wholesale purchases.
Join OADA and David Brown of Stockamp & Brown, OADA's outside counsel, as we educate dealers on what to watch out for to avoid legal problems and other issues related to properly selling used vehicles.
