Dealing with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has always been a challenge for employers. As the definition of what a disability is expands, is there anyone who ISN'T disabled? When examining essential job functions, isn't attendance ALWAYS essential? How much leave is enough?

Join Melissa Dials from Fisher Phillips Cleveland Office as we explore the complicated topic of the ADA. Because disability laws have traditionally been so liberal, dealerships are left struggling to accommodate anything and everything. So how do you know the employee really is incapacitated? How do you make the right decision in those tough situations? In this webinar, we will discuss the difficult situations that you face, and provide practical tips for determining when "enough is enough."

Melissa Dials is Of Counsel in Fisher Phillips Cleveland Office. Melissa counsels employers on a wide variety of day-to-day employment and labor matters, including managing employee leave issues, drafting employment agreements and interpreting and administering collective bargaining agreements. Melissa also assists employers in developing proactive employee relations programs, including developing employee handbooks and supervisory training.

Melissa graduated from Cumberland University in 1999, and is a 2007 graduate of Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

There is a $25 connection fee for OADA members, and a $50 connection fee for non-members. Register Here!
