Tackling Tricky Disciplinary Issues

OADA Webinar

How easy it would be if managing employee performance means only counting attendance occurrences and measuring numeric quotas. Unfortunately, employees present a variety of behavior and misconduct issues. Often managers feel they are being held hostage to these problems, spending a disproportionate amount of time, thought and emotional energy pursuing a resolution. Finally, when management is ready to take action, an employee may throw a wrench into the works by raising claims of discrimination, harassment or a medical condition.

This webinar will provide tips on how to effectively and legally address difficult disciplinary situations such as:

• An employee whose recent erratic behavior suggests substance abuse or a mental health issue.
• An employee's claim that poor performance is due to harassment, age or a medical condition.
• The bully who is an outstanding performer.
• The whiner / gossiper complaining about wages and workplace safety.
• An employee's social media posting that ridicules the dealership.
• The "squabblers" - employees who are constantly complaining about each other.

Join OADA as we welcome Melanie Webber, a partner in the Cleveland office of Fisher Phillips, for a webinar to discuss some practical advise for managing tricky disciplinary issues. There is a $25 connection fee for OADA members, and a $50 connection fee for non-member dealers. Register Here!
