How to Control 3rd Party Turmoil and Manage Technology Vendors Effectively
OADA Webinar
Nowadays, many dealers add more and more features to their dealership management suite by working with supplementary technology vendors, e.g. with independent CRM providers. This might lift the system capabilities and generate more sales, but it also has implications on dealership financials, data integration, and data security. On average a dealership has between 15-20 parties extracting data elements from its DMS. But what do these third parties really do with the dealers' data? Do they share sensitive customer information with affiliates? Do they sell them to brokers? How much data is really needed to provide the service?
Join OADA as we welcome Stefan Dreschel from the Gillrie Institute to present this topic to you. This presentation will help key personnel in your dealership understand the holistic picture of working with third party vendors, and help you manage your supplementary technology partners more (cost-) efficiently and securely.
You will learn:
- What are the major implications of 3rd party services?
- What do individual and structural cost problems look like?
- Where to find potential service overlaps
- What to know about data integration and circulation
- How do data security issues emerge?
- Tactics to improve 3rd party management
The Gillrie Institute's mission is to provide automobile dealers with the tools and guidance they need to negotiate for their dealership systems with confidence. Their team has helped over 7,000 car dealers in the U.S. and Canada to dramatically reduce technology expenses and get the right system for the best possible price and terms.
There is a $20 connection fee for OADA member dealers, and a $50 connection fee for non-members. Register Here!
