BMV Temporarily Reduces Staffing in Response to COVID-19

We have been advised that the BMV Dealer Licensing Section and all of Ohio Department of Public Safety will be at minimum staffing levels due to the instruction of Governor Mike DeWine to take various preparedness and preventative measures to protect Ohioans from the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), as well as the flu. The BMV has indicated that there may be delays in phone, email response and application processing.
