Are you ready for an oil spill? Oil spills can contaminate soil, groundwater and surface water potentially resulting in significant cleanup costs and environmental compliance issues. OADA is pleased to welcome R. Curtis Spence, P.E. with Spence Environmental Consulting, Inc., who will present an overview of methods to prevent oil spills from oil storage and maintenance areas including containment systems and cleanup procedures.

This webinar will also discuss the oil storage thresholds associated with the U.S. EPA Oil Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Rule (40 CFR Part 112) so you can determine if you need to prepare and implement a  SPCC plan. The SPCC rule includes several alternatives for compliance including requirements for facilities with between 1,320 gallons and 10,000 gallons of oil storage capacity. The requirements associated with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Qualified Facilities and larger storage facilities will be presented including the following topics:
