Essential Service Provider Examples Requested

OADA Members:

In our ongoing effort to demonstrate how important dealerships are to Ohioans during these unprecedented times, we have shared several examples from our members with Governor DeWine and his Administration that highlight our importance to both our local communities and our state.  These are just a few examples for why dealerships should remain open as “Essential Service Providers”:

  • City in NE Ohio has closed their city service garage operations and in turn has reached out to OADA member dealers to have their dealership network start handling all their government and police vehicle service needs.  The dealership network has indicated that, as long as they are permitted, they will do their best to provide that service and help keep those first responders on the road.
  • An OADA truck dealer in Northern Ohio shared that their store services liquid gas trailers, which includes hospital grade oxygen, among other gases.  Their teams are prepared to continue to provide this service as long as they are allowed to keep them moving and hospital grade oxygen gas supplied to those facilities where it is needed.

We ask you to send us an email or even a screen shot of an example of what you are doing to help keep your communities moving forward in these unprecedented times.  If you have other examples that will help the cause, please email them to kdanison@oada.com as soon as possible.

We are working for you and we want to share your examples with the Administration.
